An Open Door into your Heart was established in 1990 and takes care of some of the world most vulnerable children. After stablising their condition and getting them back to good health, we try to find family members that we can resettle the child with. We are currently working in the UK, Uganda, India and Rwanda.
In the UK we are very active in local schools bringing 'life' messages through pastoral lessons and assemblies.

Mission teams 2010
The missions season is well and truly underway! There have been 5 trips to Uganda already this year with a number of other trips planned throughout for the rest of 2010.
Here is a photo from a recent missions trip (led by Anna Ozemoya) where the team engaged with An Open Door children in a very creative and enjoyable art project. As you can see some of the artwork produced by the children (guided by Anna) is outstanding.
In answer to our prayer our schools team now has a new member who had her first week this week. Sara is coming on board for one day each week and is a huge asset to the team. With a great servant heart and skill at making people laugh, Sara is also good at handling the trusty open door van!
Well as we continue to visit schools we are continually blessed by how excited the kids seem to get! It’s great to know that you are speaking the truth into their lives and that truth can make a difference. The children respond so well to the assemblies and seem to love the lively acting and they all go out from the assembly still singing the song ‘Our God is a Great Big God’ which leaves me with a big smile on my face!
