Whether you are an individual or a group, such as a church or school, you can join the many others already helping by sponsoring a child.

You can give any amount, over £5 a month, which will enable us to provide full care and education for the children and babies in our two homes in Uganda.

This includes:

Medical attention
Housing
Feeding
Good sanitation and clean water
Clothing
Education
Parenting
Counselling

As you can imagine, covering every aspect of a child’s welfare doesn’t come cheap and we usually bear this complete cost.

So it’s all about teamwork. Several sponsors, giving what they can, can share the cost of looking after a child.

That way, we ensure we receive the funds we need to provide the care they deserve. It also means that if £5 is all you can afford, you will still be making a vital difference.

Child sponsorship is usually donated by standing order. If you are a taxpayer, you can sign the tax declaration which will allow us to claim the tax back at 28% on the gift from the Inland Revenue at no cost to you. That means that for every £100 that is given for our work, £28 comes back from tax already paid, so increases the gift to £128!

When you sponsor a child, you will receive a sponsorship pack and an annual update on how the child is doing. This will include a new photograph and either a letter written by the child or, if they are too young to write, a drawing with a letter from one of their carers.
